Senior Software Engineer - Maryland


Participate in the creation of new services as well as the modernization of existing capabilities into a service-based environment . It is anticipated that the new development will make use of a number of object, as well as service, oriented patterns of development. As such, it is necessary that the applicant be familiar with current software/systems development best practices.

Looking for a developer with experience in all phases of the development process to include requirements analysis. The selected individual will be expected to be able to mature into a lead position, responsible for a small team of engineers implementing service-based solutions.

Beneficial for the applicant to have some level of software-based signal processing experience. The advertised position requires the candidate to support other ancillary development activities to include: documentation, training and system deployments.

Work is to be performed in the customer lab spaces. The current team consists of a heterogeneous mix of contractors as well as government personnel.

The applicant must be able to work with a small group of software developers, independently when needed, and with evolving customer needs.

Required Skills:
· C++ or Java (5+ years)
· Object Oriented Analysis and Design ( 5+ years)
· Linux/Unix – (5+ years)
